Dr. Brahma Singh, the eminent
horticultural scientist of India was installed as the first
President of World Wellness Form (WWF), a social action branch
division of World Wellness Open University (WWOU) of Empower
India Movement.
The installation ceremony was conducted at the Esthelle Hotel,
Chennai during the first anniversary celebration of World
Wellness Forum in front of more than 150 Wellness Doctors, DCNT
holders, Wellness Worriers and top achievers of Noni Family.
Dr. Brahma Singh is already a known face to Noni Family members
through his proactive participation as a part of the World Noni
Research Foundation (WNRF) research team. Out of his commitment
to ensure global well being and a complete willingness to
contribute and serve Dr. Brahma Singh has been kind enough to
accept our invitation and preside over as its president.
Dr. Brahma Singh will be ably assisted by the Chairman of WWF
Prof. Dr. P I Peter, Regional Wellness Directors and a team of
Wellness Advisors. Dr. Brahma Singh will be operating from our
New Delhi office and will be available to serve all family
members of Noni Family!
We congratulate Dr. Brahma Singh on his new appointment and
appreciate his commitment towards wellness. Let his gesture of
service and contribution be inspiration to all of us in our
Wellness Mission.

Celebrated in
Extra-Ordinary Style in Chennai
The first anniversary of
World Wellness Forum (WWF), a branch division of World
Wellness Open University (WWU) was celebrated amidst a lot
of excitement, joy, fun, future commitment and of course
applauding the commendable service rendered by its
thousands of service-oriented Wellness Worriers, on 15th
& 16th of January 2008 at Chennai. Dr. Brahma
Singh, the veteran scientist of India was installed as the
President of World Wellness Forum during the event, which
was the highlight of this extra-ordinary event.
Hotel Esthelle at Chennai
was the venue for the anniversary celebration. The event
was attended by the crème-de-la-cream of Empower India
Movement and Noni Family Wellness Program. More than 150
Honorary Doctors, Certified National Trainers (CNTs), DCNT
Holders and top achievers of Noni Family were present.
All the participants
expressed their love towards the chief guest of honor for
the day Dr. Brahma Singh, Chairman Prof. Dr. P I Peter and
Dr. Rangadhar Satapathy by way of showering flower petals.
Prof. Dr. P I Peter started the day with meditation. The
formal program began with Prof. Dr. P I Peter, Dr.
Rangadhar Satapathy, Dr. Kashinath Dalabanjan, Dr. Debi
Prasad Acharya and Dr. Ramesh Kinnal on stage. The event
was inaugurated by lighting the Wellness Lamp by all on
stage. Dr. Brahma Singh then was invited on stage and all
the guests escorted him on to the stage. The anchor for
the day Dr. Stan Serrao gave a brief introduction of World
Wellness Forum, its vision, mission and modus operandi.
The actual installation
ceremony began with Prof Dr. P I Peter making a formal
request with an invitation to Dr. Brahma Singh to take
over as the President of WWF. Dr. Brahma Singh willingly
accepted the formal request with a powerful reply. With a
red gown and a mega garland of red roses Dr. Brahma Singh
lit the Wellness Candle and took an oath expressing his
commitment as the President of WWF, as all the
participants expressed their solidarity by holding a
candle with light drawn from the Wellness Candle and
singing Vande Mataram song. Dr. Brahma Singh then gave
away his first official speech as the President of World
Wellness Forum.
The next session was aimed
at reviewing the service done by the WWF in the year 2007.
The session was chaired by Dr. Brahma Singh, Prof. Dr. P I
Peter, Dr. Sankarsan Sahu and Dr. Debi Prasad Acharya. Dr.
Sahu presented an annul report of the various activities
of World Wellness Forum conducted in its first year and
said that as many as 20 Lakhs people were touched by WWF.
As many as 20 Senior Wellness Worriers from across the
country spoke on their experiences of Wellness Campaign in
2007 and said how the ’10 Commandments’ have helped people
bring a major change in their lifestyle. Dr. Brahma Singh
then gave away his closing remarks and applauded the
wonderful work done by everyone in the year 2007. Prof.
Dr. P I Peter spoke on the occasion and said that a humble
beginning initiated last year as emerged as a national
mission and the year 2008 will be dedicated to consolidate
this mission in India and by 2009 the movement would be
expanded at the International level.
The afternoon session was
dedicated to prepare a ‘Wellness Action Plan for 2008’.
Various level of planning was done at Individual, Family,
Team and Organization level. Tremendous amount of creative
ideas, suggestions and recommendations were made and
presented for implementations in the year 2008. In order
to systematically implement the action plan in 2008 and
make our Wellness Movement a force to reckon with Prof.
Dr. P I Peter proposed an organizational structure which
was accepted and finalized. India was divided into 6
regions covering all 30 states. 6 Regional Directors and
16 State Directors were appointed (Read Separate News) to
form the Board of Directors. Dr. Rangadhar Satapathy and
Dr. Stan Serrao were inducted as Advisors.
The Board of Directors
along with State Directors met in the evening. The newly
appointed Regional and State level directors were
congratulated and each and everyone reiterated their
commitment to reach out masses and exceed their target.
Prof. Dr. P I Peter briefed the session and explained the
structure of WWOU and introduced its 5 branches and said
that WWF is an important part of it.
In the first session of the
second day the National Action Plan with 60 creative ideas
for Individual/family and team were presented. A state
level, regional level and national level targets, decided
by the board of Directors for the year 2008 were
announced. The national level target to reach out to 10
million (100 Lakhs/1 Crore) people was announced with much
excitement of the participant.
The next session was to
review the experiences of participants for the year 2007
with regard to Noni Family Wellness Program. The session
was chaired by Dr. Brahma Singh, Prof Dr P I Peter, Dr.
Kashinath Dalabanjan and Dr. Ramesh Kinnal. Dr. Kashinath
Dalabanjan presented a brief report on various activities
of NFWP followed by heart felt stories from participants
dwelling on both the remarkable product testimonies as
well as unbelievable financial achievements. Dr. B M
Shevala, Lr. Sherwani, Lr. K Shantharam, Lr. N. Nagaraj
and Dr. kuldeep Shukla were prominent among them.
In the last session an
action plan for 2008 was discussed and it was decided to
go aggressive with the intellectual (Wellness) and
Physical (Divine Noni) distribution of our program at the
national level.
Prof Dr P I Peter thanked
each and every participant for their amazing
participation. Dr. Debi Prasad Acharya and Dr.Gammula
Satyavati Reddy were awarded a rolling shield for being
the ‘Best Wellness Campainers’ for the year 2007 in men
and women catgory respectively, while Dr. Rangadhar
Satapathy was awarded the ‘Best Wellness Teacher’. Dr. B M
Shevale was given the best ‘Sharing’ award, Lr. Sherwani,
the ‘Best Participant’ and Dr.Tanumaya Mitra was given the
best Support leader award.
The event also saw all the
participants receiving new Wellness tools at the end. The
World Congress of Integrated Medicines (WCIM) to be held
in the month of March 2008 was presented. All participants
of WWF left Chennai to different directions of India as
terribly empowered Wellness Worriers. The year 2008
belongs to Wellness Mission of World Wellness Open
University!
