Here is an announcement to our Noni Cultivation Family Members.

Rains have been received almost all over the country for the past few days.

Now the plants are looking healthy after the rains.

This is time to apply manures to Noni plants to enhance the growth using rains.

Now this is also the time for the pests like semiloopers and army worms to infest Noni plants.

Our cultivators are advised to spray Noni Ayur and Noni Rakshak to keep away the pests.

For any queries please keep in touch with our Regional Project leaders.

Now I present you Indian Noni Wellness Cultivation Programme.

Based on the growth of Indian Noni, we see a massive demand for the
product in the future. This requires supply of large quantity of raw materials – Indian Noni Fruits.

Our forward integration [i.e. manufacturing and marketing of the product] has got a strong base in India and we have planned to take Indian Noni to 63 countries in the world in the next 3 years. Seeing the growth and potential of this product and to meet the future raw material requirement of the Indian Noni Industry, we have commenced our backward integration [i.e. Cultivation] in a contract cultivation module by Indian Noni Cultivation Council (INCC)

Why we need to Cultivate - Indian Noni

Firstly - To meet the future Demand. As the demand for the product Indian Noni is growing everyday we have planned to meet our future demand and supply requirements.

Secondly - To make Indian Noni Available to common man at an
affordable price
– the vision of our beloved chairman is to bring down
the cost by which Indian Noni can reach all the segments of the society.
Thirdly - To provide a new life to Farmers - Indian Noni Cultivation is
not only going to change the life of the farmers but also change the life style of the farming community.

Forthly - Creating Green pension for the farmers – by providing
permanent income through Indian Noni Cultivation to fullfill their dreams.

Fifthly - To promote Organic Cultivation- the whole world is changing from Chemicals to Naturals. Organic cultivation poses no challenge to the health, no fear of soil declination, no pollution and no damage to our environment. To advocate the same we have set up our own bio fertilizer manufacturing facility namely Indian Noni Organic Inputs (INOI).

Now let us discuss about the technical aspects of Indian Noni
Cultivation.

Indian Noni plant grows very well in varied kinds of soils and performs best in sandy loam soil. It can be grown in any adverse climatical condition whether it is very hot or cold, whether the area receives high rainfall or it is drought hit. Noni can grow in tropical and sub tropical areas.

The ideal season for planting is before the onset of monsoon or it can be planted any time of the year if irrigation facilities are available. For one acre it needs about 300 seedling per acre with a spacing of 12 X 12 and with a pit size of 2’X2’X2’. Ploughing and leveling the land to optimum field condition is necessary before planting.

Indian Noni plant thrives with moderate irrigation and can survive even in drought conditions once the plant is established. Irrigate regularly during the early stages of the plant to enable the plant to establish better.

As we are going to take up Indian Noni for the commercial cultivation, we require the supply of water for better yield and growth as per our guidance and projections. Weeds can be controlled by following drip irrigation system. You can carryout weeding as when necessary. Normally Indian Noni is resistant to pests or diseases. However if required it can be controlled easily by organic pesticides.

Indian Noni plant starts flowering in 8-10 months after planting. But we
suggest to remove all the flowers upto 18 months for better growth and
healthy plant. Flowering and fruiting is continuous throughout year. But
60% of the yield will be from February to June depending on the seasons.

Indian Noni Plant is capable of giving upto 150 kg/plant under ideal
conditions of cultivation after 7 years.

Why Organic Cultivation of Indian Noni ?

Organic Cultivation prevents soil depletion and it is assures environmental safety. Organic Cultivation generates eco-friendly products which are safe  for consumption and ensures good health. Our Strategy is to promote Morinda cultivation among Indian Farmers through Organic contract farming as a profitable venture with inbuilt integrated service and support system to ensure their profit and success.

Why Contract Cultivation of Indian Noni ?

Contract cultivation guarantees the cultivator quality seedlings, technical
guidance, service and more importantly assured market at a pre-determined price for the produce. This contract cultivation module has been systematically designed to provide the entire support under one roof as an umberlla service. We offer delivery of quality plant materials at your land and 100% buyback of the fruits at a predetermined price at your land creating a Win Win situation for both the farmers generating green pension for 40 years.

Why Wellness Cultivation of Indian Noni ?

Wellness cultivation generates team work, sharing and caring among the
cultivators. The cultivators can enjoy residual/permanent income for
generations. It creates certainity for their future and helps ordinary people to live an extraordinary life.

Following are the features of Indian Noni Organic contract cultivation
providing the support “OFF THE FIELD” and “ON THE FIELD”.

What are “On the Field Technical Support” ?

  • Pre-cultivation: INCC helps the cultivator for soil testing, water testing, land selection, land preparation, Irrigation planning, etc., all the guidance required before cultivation.

  • Cultivation: Technical Advice while taking the pits, mixing of organic manures and Bio inputs etc with monthly visits.

  • Crop Maintenance: Timely advise to the cultivators by INCC Technical professional regarding pests and diseases control measures, manuring, weeding etc.

  • Harvest: Training for harvesting and post harvest technology to the cultivators shall be provided.

  • INCC also offers continuous information, interaction, inspiration and periodical training to the cultivators at our regional NRTC.

We have our regional Field research stations in viz. Maharastra, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh and plans to extend to more states. Further we are committed to continuous plant research and improvement in our Tissue Culture Laboratory (TCL) and Center for Organic Indian Noni (COIN) our primary field research center. These are the dedicated Morinda Cultivation Research centers for the first time in the world.

What are “Off the Field Support” ?

The Farmers get an unmatched support from conception to completion i.e. from land selection to fruit transport.

  • Prompt and personalized service and guidance.

  • Easy access to INCC trained Agri professionals.

  • Quality service from seedlings to Harvesting.

  • We insure the crop against Act of God- natural calamities.

  • We can support to get finance from the Bank provided the farmer fulfills all the requirements of the bank as per the banker’s norms.
Project evaluation and project report preparation are provided by us at a nominal cost. INCC does not finance for any project.

Marketing is the area where we are strong at and this is one of the Major sectors where most of the farming industries face the challenge because there are no forward integration. But Indian Noni already has a strong forward integration (manufacturing and marketing).

INCC provides

100% Buyback guarantee with a pre-cultivation price through a Registered Contract Cultivation Agreement with prices assured for the first 10 Harvest years.

Now let us discuss about the Economics of the Indian Noni Cultivation.

Let us see the cost of Cultivation

There are two types of costs

1. PROGRAMME COST : (Includes Plant Material, Technical Support, Training & Other Services including insurance till the first Harvest) Rs.15,800

Good Morning and Welcome.

I welcome each and every one of you to this Presentation on Noni cultivation.

I request you to listen to this presentation in a way it can make a difference in your life and allow you to take a decision for your future. I request you to reserve all your queries till the end of the session and listen to me with an open mind. Today I am going to discuss about the cultivation of the fruit of a plant called Morinda Citrifolia. Noni is the commercial name of this fruit in the World.

Among various plant species, Noni has been extensively used by people world over as food, dye and other purposes and connected directly with billions of people’s health and livelihood. This fruit contains more than 150+ nutraceuiticals that are required by our body on a daily basis. Noni has proved to be an amazing health enhancer for all kinds of modern health condition.

Noni is very popular in the world as a food supplement. More than 40 Universities in the world are undertaking research on the health enhancing properties of this fruit and published more than 500 research papers on Noni. There are more than 30,60,000 weblinks on the Internet that speaks about its immense popularity in the world with the market over Rs. 300 Crores.

We at Indian Noni have done extensive research on this particular species Morinda citrifolia (NONI) since last 5 years and products manufactured, marketed and exported by us since last 3½ years.

Today we have our presence in all the state and union territories of India and we have our presence outside India also. Noni has proved its efficacy and is moving by the power of the product, and created its strong base in India and in the world market.

Based on the growth of Indian Noni, we see a massive demand for the product in the future. This requires supply of huge quantity of raw material – Noni Fruit. Today we as an integrated company engaged in the entire activity right from the Plant to the Product to the People [P-P-P] or we call it Fruit – to Formula – to Future [F-F-F] i.e. the Research & Development, Cultivation, Processing, manufacturing and this Natural food supplement made from the fruit of the plant called Morinda Citrifolia.

We draw your attention to fact that our forward integration [i.e. manufacturing of product and the marketing of the product] has got a strong base in India and we have planned to take Indian Noni to 63 countries in the world in the next 3 years. Seeing the growth and potential of this product and to meet the future raw material requirement of the Noni Industry, we have commenced our backward integration [i.e. Cultivation] facilities in a contract cultivation module. The strength and longevity of a big building depends on the strong foundation.

Need for Noni Cultivation

  1. To meet the future Demand. As the demand for the product Indian Noni is growing everyday we have planned to meet our future demand and supply requirements.

  2. To make Indian Noni Available to common man at an affordable price – the vision of our beloved chairman is to bring down the cost by which Indian Noni can reach all the segments of the society.

  3. To carry forward Noni Good Health and wellness revolution to reach every nook and corner of India.

  4. To Rejuvenate and Revitalize the Indian Farming Industry. Today the present situation of farmer is not encouraging due to various parameters like labour, marketing challenges. middlemen, less yield, no proper pricing etc etc. If you look into their eyes and try to understand their need of the hour you will find that everyone is looking for a change in the crop which will give them profit. But they have a big question in their minds, “who will supply them necessary technology, Who will guide them rightly and regularly, Who will supply them the good quality raw materials (plants), Who will support them and finally who will Buy their produce on harvesting. To answer all their queries Indian NONI Cultivation Council (INCC) has initiated the Noni contract cultivation program.

  5. To provide a new life to Farmer - Noni Cultivation is not only going to change the life of the farmers but also change the life style of the farming community by giving them a new life through the blessings of Noni users’.

  6. Creating Green pension for the farmers – by providing continuous income for 40 plus years through Noni Cultivation.

  7. To promote Organic and Organic Cultivation- the whole world is changing from Chemicals to Naturals. The Worldwide shift towards organic for the dangerous effects of the chemical farming. Promoting the importance Organic cultivation in which there is no challenge to the health, no fear of soil declination, no pollution and no damage to our environment. To advocate the same we have our own bio fertilizer manufacturing facility namely Indian Noni Organic Inputs (INOI).

  8. These are the major reasons why we are taking up the Noni Cultivation Program. Now let us discuss about the technical aspects of Noni Cultivation.

Basic Data on Cultivation :

  1. Soil
Noni plant comes up very well in any kind of soil whether it is alkaline or saline but performs very well in sandy loam soil.

  2. Climate & Temperature
It can be grown in any adverse climatically condition whether it is very hot or low rainfall or high rainfall it is grown in tropics to sub tropics heavy rainfall to drought hit areas or very heavy wind.

  3. Planting Season
The ideal season for planting is June-October i.e. before the onset of monsoon or it can be planted in January to March where irrigation facilities are available.

  4. Seedling
    Needs about 290 seedling /acre with a spacing of 12.25’ X 12.25’ and with a pit size of 2’X2’X2’.

  5. Preparatory Cultivation
Ploughing and leveling the land to optimum field condition is necessary.

  6. Irrigation
Noni plant thrives with moderate irrigation and can survive even in drought conditions once the plant is established. Irrigate regularly during the early stage of the plant to enable the plant to establish better. As we are going to take up Noni for the commercial cultivation, we require the presence of water for better yield and growth as per our guidance and projections.

  7. Weeding
It can be controlled by following drip irrigation system. You can carryout weeding as when necessary.

  8. Pest and diseases
Normally Noni is resistant to pests of diseases. However if required it can be controlled easily by organic pesticides.

  9. Harvesting
Noni plant starts flowering 8-10 months after planting. But we suggest to remove all the flowers upto 18 months for better growth and bushy plant. Flowering and fruiting is continuous throughout year. But 60% of the yield will be from February to June.
Noni Plant is capable of giving upto 150 kg/tree under ideal cultivation after 7 years.

Our Strategy

Our Strategy is to promote Morinda cultivation among Indian Farmers as a profitable venture with inbuilt integrated service and support system to ensure profit and success. This contract cultivation module has been systematically designed to provide the entire support under one roof as an umbrella coverage. We offer 100% buyback of the produce at a predetermined price creating Win Win situation for both the farmer and the Organistion..

Following are the features of Noni contract cultivation of INCC providing the support “off the field” and “on the field”.

Off the Field Support

  1. 100% Security - As the Farmers get an unmatched support from conception to completion i.e. from land selection to fruit transport.
    a) Prompt and personalized service and guidance.
    b) Easy access to INCC trained Agri professionals.
    c) Quality service from seedlings to Harvesting.

  2. Crop Insurance – you can insure the crop against AOG (Act of God)- all natural calamities.

  3. Institutional support - We can support to get finance from the Bank provided the farmer fulfills all the requirement of the bank as per the banker’s norms.
    a) Project evaluation and project report preparation at a nominal cost.
    b) Appraisal to authorities, if required.
    c) INCC will not finance for any project.

  4. Marketing support: This is the area where we are strong at and this is one of the Major sectors where most of the farming industries face the challenge because there is no forward integration. But Indian Noni has a strong forward integration (manufacturing and marketing).

INCC provides

a) 100% Buyback guarantee with a pre cultivation price.
b) Registered Agreement (MOU) with contract cultivator

On the Field Technical Support

  1. Pre-cultivation: INCC helps the cultivator for soil testing, water testing, land selection, land preparation, Irrigation planning etc. All the guidance required before cultivation.

  2. Cultivation: Technical Advice while taking the pits, mixing of organic manures and Bio inputs etc.

  3. Crop Maintenance: Timely advise to the cultivators by INCC Technical professional regarding pests & diseases, control measures, manuring, weeding etc.

  4. Harvest: Training for harvesting and post harvest technology to the cultivators shall be provided.

  5. INCC also offers continuous information, interaction, inspiration and periodical training to the cultivators at our regional NRTC.

We have our regional Field research stations in eight States viz. Maharastra, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Berhampur (Orissa), Kerala, MP etc and plans to extend to more states. These center are going to act as farmers training and procurement center for the state. Further we are committed to continuous plant/tree improvement and research in our Tissue Culture Laboratory (TCL) and Center for Organic Indian Noni (COIN) the primary field research center. These are the dedicated Morinda research center first time in the world.
