fact that ‘Divine Noni’ has been able to
make a big impression in the global

was a large number of International

Festival’ into an ‘International
Carnival’!
There were representatives from
Australia, Austria, Andaman & Nicobar
Islands, Bangladesh, Bellerose, Brazil,
Canada, China, Greece, Iran, Japan,
Lebanon, Malaysia, Nepal, Portuguese,
Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Sri
Lanka, Thailand, United Kingdom, USA and
Vietnam, who had come to participate in
the World Congress of Integrated
Medicines, also took part in ‘Noni Day
2008’ making it a truly a World-Class
celebration.
Take a hard look! Aren’t these clear
signs of ‘Divine Noni’ going global in a
strong way in the near future? Well,
your guess is as good as ours! |

|

For those of you, who are not aware of
this fact, here is a quick flashback!
It was during the plenary session of
‘Noni Search 2006’ held at Hotel Taj
Banjara in Hyderabad, chaired by Dr.
Kirti Singh, Chairperson of WNRF that a
suggestion was made to celebrate ‘Noni
Day’. Dr. Kirti Singh, the session
chairperson, proposed to celebrate it on
the birthday of Prof Dr Sir P I Peter
himself as he felt it is simply
befitting to do so as our visionary
Chairman had done a great service to
mankind by re-discovering ‘Noni’ and
formulating ‘Divine Noni’. The proposal
was accepted instantly and unanimously.
Thus, March 23, the birth date of our
Chairman was marked as ‘Noni Day’ as
well.
The birthday celebrations, this time,
however were symbolic, simple yet
colorful. The presence of two special
people on stage made this year’s
birthday celebration truly a meaningful
one. Mrs. Seraphin Ignatius, Chairman’s
loving mother and Mr. Prem Peter,
Chairman’s loving son, all the way from
Japan, joined the birthday celebration.
Birthday Boy Prof Dr Sir P I Peter cut
the cake while ‘Happy Birthday’ song
sent waves of celebration in the hall.
Sri Lankan delegation lead by Prof Dr
Sir Gitanjan Mendis and Dr. C. Indrapala
presented a ‘Traditional Flower’ to
Chairman. Dr. Kirti Singh, Dr. Khursheed
Merchant, Dr. Janet WU, Dr. Tom WU and
many other dignitaries were present on
the dais. They poured greetings and best
wishes and vibrated love wishing him a
long life!

World Wellness Open University of
Chennai, India and co-hosted by the
Medicina Alternativa of Alma – Ata 1962
of Colombo, Sri Lanka at Chennai from
23-26 March 2008 was inaugurated during
a grand inaugural ceremony flooded with
VVIPs, VIPs, Special Guests and Guest of
Honor from across the world.
Dr Kirti Singh, the Chairperson of World
Noni Research Foundation and the
President of National Organizing
Committee of WCIM presided over the
function. Minister for State, Ministry
of Environment and Forest, Government of
India Sri S Reghupathy was the Chief
Guest for the ceremony while Hon
Minister Mr. Bandula Basnayake; Sports
Minister of Government of Sri Lanka was
the Guest of Honor. Veteran Cardiologist
of International repute, the genius Dr.
B M Hegde of Manipal Academy of Higher
Education (MAHE) was the special guest.
Dr. H P Singh, Deputy Director General
of Indian Council of Agricultural
Research (ICAR), New Delhi and Dr. S
Kannian, former Vice Chancellor of
Kerala Agricultural University and
Director of National Bio-diversity
Authority, Government of India were the
other Guests of Honor. Prof Dr Sir
Gitanjan Mendis of Medicina Alternativa
too was on the stage. All Knight
Commanders and special VIPs were also on
the dais.
Prof Dr Sir P I Peter welcomed the
gathering followed by garlanding. The
WCIM was formally inaugurated by
lighting the lamp of love, the
traditional Kuthuvilakku, after which
the state anthem, Tamil Thai Vazhthu and
the invocation dance followed.
Dr. H P Singh, then spoke on the
occasion and expressed his deep concern
over the ever-growing diseases and the
distress it created. He urged the
organizers to put their mind together
and requested them to popularize
alternative medicines, which is used by
80% of the population even today!
The real tone for the WCIM was set by
Dr. B M Hegde, who came hard at the
organizers advising them not to just
speak (organize seminars) but to prove
their metal by scrutinizing all the
therapies scientifically so that the
general masses can accept them and use
them for their benefit. He said the
categorical denial of the allopathic
medicinal system is not the wise thing
to do, instead a balanced approach
towards holistic healthcare treatment
must be conceptualized and he offered
his support.
Dr S Kannain spoke next and
congratulated the efforts of the
organizers and assured his support in
spreading Wellness globally. Prof Dr Sir
Gitanjan Mendis too congratulated Prof
Dr Sir P I Peter for organizing this

world must get an access to Wellness,
with no one being left out.

India is a spectacular country with
abundance in natural resources and such
World Congresses may help it rediscover
many medicinal plant in the line of
Noni. He congratulated the organizers
for their wonderful efforts and thanked
them.
This glittery inaugural ceremony
witnessed some loud cheering when Dr. B
M Hegde spoke. Colorful dances, galore
of VVIPs on stage and series of
meaningful and powerful speeches set a
missionary tone for the world congress.

Integrated Medicines event proposed the vote of
thanks. |

Dr. B M Hegde, Mangalore – Manipal
“It is useless sitting here speaking and
discussing, you must go out there and
prove your claims with scientific
evidence” thundered the veteran
cardiologist and the former Vice
Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher
Education (MAHE) Dr. B M Hegde, during
the Inaugural Ceremony of World Congress
of Integrated Medicines held from 23-26
March at Chennai.
Well, on the face of it, it might appear
as a bit of criticism but Dr. B M Hegde
must be taken on face value considering
his 55 years yeoman service in the field
of Healthcare. While saying so, he did
not hesitate to offer his unconditional
support as well.
“In my 55 years of service, I have not
been able to understand the concept of
Wellness fully. Isn’t wellness a
birthright of every individual? Human
body is designed to take care of its
challenges itself, yet due to modern
lifestyle we have disturbed this
mechanism,” said Dr Hegde, winner of
innumerable awards.
“Discarding Allopathic Medicinal System
altogether citing it has side effects is
not wise. In emergency situations, say a
truck strikes you down; you can’t say I
am a firm believer of alternative
therapies and start meditating. For
modern diagnosis and surgery there is no
replacement for Allopathic system: he
said. “You must publish your research
findings in reputed International
Journals read by the majority of the
medical professionals to get their
attention. Scientific proof of all your
claims and studies is imperative in
today’s modern world ” he opined.
“Ancient Indian scriptures have already
the concepts of Wellness imbibed in
them. We must go back to nature. Use of
non-vegetarian food, milk etc must be
studied in depth. A perfect balance in
the left and right brain is the key to
enjoy holistic wellness,” he said in his
short speech.
He thanked Dr P Rethinam, Consultant of
World Noni Research Foundation for
introducing him to this Wellness
Movement and also Prof Dr Sir P I Peter
for his efforts of organizing this mega
event. |

|

Sri S Regupathy, Hon. Minister
“India is blessed with abundant natural
resources. Like Noni (Morinda citrifolia)
there may be many more medicinal plants
that we could re-discover. Medicinal
Plants can do wonders for human
wellness,” said Sri S Reghupathy,
Honorable Minister for States, Minsitry
of Forest and Environment, Government of
India, during the Inaugural Ceremony of
WCIM held on 23 March 2008 held at
Chennai trade Center.
Speaking during his Chief Guest address,
he congratulated the organizers of WCIM
and welcomed all International delegates
and invited them to experience Indian
hospitality.
“India has been in the forefront in the
filed of ancient medicinal practices
such as Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga etc which
has attracted many Western countries to
come to India and make advanced studies.
We must revive all such alternative
systems practices in India for ages for
the benefit of this generation, which is
devastated due to modern lifestyle
hazards” he said.
Sri S Reghupathy assured his
wholehearted support in any project
concerning medicinal plants. |

The
Colour :The Taste : The Thickness
May Vary : 100% Powerful
Indian Noni is made from organic raw materials and
natural ingredients. The color, the taste and the
thickness of the liquid may vary depending on the
source of the fruit, specially the soil, season,
weather conditions and geographical locations.
If only synthetic ingredients were used, the
parameters like color, taste and thickness can be
controlled uniform. If you take mango fruit for
example the taste, the color of the pulp, the fiber
content, even the size of the fruit varies depending
on its origin and soil condition, Similarly many
vegetables, the taste varies from place to place.
We at Health India Laboratories are committed to
quality and ensure that the potency of Indian Noni
is maintained in every batch, to produce the desired
result and checked twice before it is passed by the
quality department for packing and despatch.
Please also note that the thickness of the liquid
may loosen with the time because of the organic
contents of the ingredients.
Health India Laboratories is an ISO (International
organization for Standardization), GMP (Good
Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and
Critical Control Points-International Food Safety
Certificate) certified company. Where the process,
quality control and other activities connected to
the raw material procurement and manufacturing are
based on standardized systems and monitored strictly
through inspectors and by records.
Every batch is tested twice for its quality and
safety. You can be 100% sure that every bottle has
the power and potency required to work in the human
body and it will work to produce positive results
for 99% of the people who use it.
The degree and the time in experiencing the benefits
may vary depending on the health conditions and
person’s toxicity in the body. |

Indian Divine Noni fruit juice is obtained
from the fruits of the plant called Morinda
citrifolia. Noni fruit juice contains more
than 150 neutrients and neutraceuticals. These
constituents of Noni are available in the
right combination and in an absorbable form.
These nutrients and neutraceuticals are
essentially required for the normal
functioning of all our body systems.
Noni has a profound detoxifying property. It
detoxifies and cleanses the toxic chemicals we
take in and also those formed in the body.
Toxins are present in the food we take, water
we drink, air we breathe, and also in
cosmetics and detergents we use. These toxins
stay in the body and get deposited as fine
layers on the cell membrane. This deposition
of toxins makes the cell membrane hard and
stiff blocking cell membrane communication.
Noni clears all the toxins from the body so
that the cell membrane becomes soft and
supple. The toxic layer also either shrinks or
closes the cell membrane pores thus entry of
micro nutrients from our food is prevented
from entering the cell. By Noni’s
Detoxification the pores in the cell membrane
open up so that the nutrients are able to go
into the cell easily. When the cell membrane
pores open up the medicine we take is able to
enter the cells to act to cure the disease.
Thus Noni helps the medicine to work
effectively and faster to cure the diseases.
Noni helps to manage stress. It contains
certain natural substances such as serotonine
and endorphins which help the body in managing
stress. Noni is also a powerful stimulant and
modulator of the immune system.
Noni helps in body’s defense mechanism in a
number of ways. For example, it secretes
nitric oxide which helps in body metabolism in
order to maintain normal body chemistry. Thus
good health is maintained by Noni.
Noni is an adaptogen and it regulates and
normalizes body functions and also those of
all secretary glands present in the body.
Noni helps in the self healing and self repair
process of the body to enhance the healing
process of medicines. When self healing power
is strengthened by Noni, good health is
maintained and sickness is relieved with the
medication. Noni helps healthy people to stay
healthy.
Noni generates health and maintains health
creating a sense of wellness and wellbeing. |

For all our committed, dedicated and esteemed
members of Noni Family, we would like to
present a few crucial facts on ‘Indian Noni’
that will undoubtedly make you proud and help
you represent ‘Indian Noni’ with an
ever-growing confidence and absolute
authority! It is extremely important that you
know these facts 100%! Before you talk
anything on ‘Indian Noni’.
We are the First and Best in India!
Empower India Movement is the first
organization to initiate an authentic research
of Noni (Morinda citrifolia) in India in 2001,
by founding Indian Noni Research Foundation (INRF),
which was later re-constituted as World Noni
Research Foundation (WNRF) in 2006.
Undoubtedly, we are the pioneers in the field
of Noni Research in India, which clearly
demonstrates our vision and commitment.
Interestingly, Noni and its amazing health
benefits were absolutely unknown to the people
of India then, as the present generation had
ignored, neglected and taken pride by
distancing itself from this wonderful gift
from Mother Nature. However, thanks to the
initiative and efforts of Prof Dr P I Peter
who undertook an exclusive and extensive
research of Noni along with his team that they
were able to re-discover some path breaking
facts about Noni. The ultimate breakthrough
came in, when they were successful in
formulating the first ever Noni fruit juice
concentrate of India by the brand name of
‘Indian Noni’. In short, ‘Indian Noni’ is the
first ever original and authentic ‘Noni Fruit
Juice’ of India.
Today, Indian Noni not only happens to be the
‘First’ but also the only Registered Noni
brand of Noni in India that is authentic and original
offering value for money. We are simply the
best! We express our sincere gratitude to the
continuous patronage and blessings of millions
of satisfied customers who would vouch for the
health benefits they have received from Indian
Noni.
Heart Touching Fact-Findings of INRF & Our
Action-Plan!
It is very important that we know some of the
facts that INRF brought out:
-
Noni
is an Indian fruit. It was an ancient health
secret used by traditional healers in India
some 3000 years ago, references of which
were found in the medicinal textbooks of
Ayurveda and Siddha. Since modern Indians
were totally unaware of this fact, INRF was
inspired to unearth its health enhancing
properties to the benefit of the current
generation, threatened by unheard lifestyle
diseases, as its social commitment.
-
Some
developed western countries were undertaking
extensive research, growing Noni (Indian
Mulberry) plants and were commercially
exploiting the entire medicinal plant
(fruits, flowers, leaves and bark) by
manufacturing a wide range of products and
marketing it in the global market worth
billions US$. Since India, its origin
country was terribly lagging behind in this
aspect, INRF accepted the challenge and
choose to join the global race.
-
Since
Noni is a medicinal plant that concerns
sensitive human health, we realized the need
of a team of experts that included
professional researchers and well-qualified
doctors. Today World Noni Research
Foundation, lead by Dr. Kirti Singh
(‘Vegetable Specialist’ of India) boasts of
having eminent scientists, researchers, vice
chancellors, academicians, clinicians and
medical doctors across 5 research divisions.
We have left no stone unturned to ensure
detailed study of both the plant and the
fruit and to match perfection in
manufacturing result-oriented quality
products. Added to this is the strategic and
moral support from big names like Dr. APJ
Abdul Kalam, Shri Surjit Singh Barnala and
many such big stalwarts.
-
Noni
plant grows better in India (the original)
geographic conditions yielding optimum
health enhancing properties in the fruit.
Since Noni plants in India were getting
extinct, we have taken the initiative of
undertaking the organic contract cultivation
in as many as 11 states of India as well as
Andaman and Nicobar islands with more than
500 farmers through Indian Noni Cultivation
Council (INCC). We are the first and the
only one to do so in India ever!
-
Realizing the need to have a premium,
result-oriented and value for money product
we have established a state-of-the art
factory of Health India Laboratories with
international standards of quality and
safety in food processing. Today, we have
the distinction of having the best
manufacturing and processing facilities for
Noni not only in India but also across the
world.
-
Ultimately, the success of the product is
determined by its consistent performance and
user-fulfillment. Today Indian Noni boasts
of more than 5 Lakhs
users-turned-distributors, more than 50
Lakhs loyal users and innumerable
testimonies in India. This must clearly
demonstrate the fact that Indian Noni is not
only the first but also the original and the
authentic Noni.
-
As a social commitment Indian Noni
Charitable Trust (INCT) works with the HIV
positive and Cancer patients by providing
Indian Noni absolutely free of cost. A
galaxy of our mass initiatives such as World
Wellness Open University, World Wellness
Forum, World Wellness Congress, Awake India
Day, World Congress of Integrated Medicines
and Wellness Campaigns across India speaks
volume of our social commitment to create a
Healthy India.
No. 1 by Far! We are the Champs!
Interestingly, a few individuals/firms in
India have unsuccessfully attempted marketing
some ‘Liquid ’ under some fancy names claiming
them to be ‘Noni Fruit Juices’ and selling
them at cheap rates to lure consumers! Most of
them have neither seen Noni fruit (leave alone
they undertaking any research on it) nor have
a team of researchers. They neither have Noni
fruits grown on even an inch (forget acres)
nor do they have any manufacturing facilities
of their own. Most of them manufacture such
‘liquids’ from some local vendors who supply
the same liquid for various people under
different brands just for the purpose of
“marketing”. Obviously, when the product lacks
the desired quality and does not give you the
result, it is obviously bound to fail. The
truth is that 90% of them go out of business
within the first 6 months of they starting it.
Their commitment towards your health is
absolutely zero!
This must tell you something! Today Indian
consumers are not only better informed but
also are very quality conscious. You can’t
lure them with cheap rates and false claims.
Yet, it’s awful to see many more jumping the
bandwagon to make some quick bucks based on
our success story.
It takes a long-term vision, strong
commitment, sincere efforts, lot of time and
crores of rupees to undertake authentic and
quality research to become the ‘King of Noni’.
Simply attaching/using the name of ‘Noni’ in
any ‘liquid juice’ will not make your product
‘Noni Juice’.
Make sure you educate people to be aware of
what they consume. Health is too precious to
experiment. Tell them the reality. Indian Noni
is undoubtedly the first and now the best!
It’s the original and the ‘King of Noni’ in
India! We are No.1 by far! We are the champs!

Let’s Learn
Some Mobile Phone Manners and Teach it to our Team
When you are a Caller
1. If
a person is not taking your call even after 3-5
rings, kindly disconnect the phone and call back
after 5 minutes. Kindly do not allow continuous full
rings! It is found that a cell phone call is
attended within the first 2-3 rings itself!
2. If a person is not taking your call even when you
have called him back after 5 minutes, he genuinely
may not be able to speak to you due to some reason.
In this case, kindly leave a SMS that you had called
him. You may either make a request to call back or
mention the time on which you will call him back.
3. If the cell phone of the person whom you want to
speak is ‘busy’ (as he is on the other call) kindly
do not keep on calling, repeatedly. Practice
patience and kindly allow him to finish his existing
call and call after a gap of at least 5 minutes.
Most of us make the mistake of calling the same
number repeatedly in spite of that cell being busy.
A gap of 5 minutes is very important.
4. If it is you who want to speak to a person,
please make a call and speak to him YOURSELF from
your phone! Kindly do not make unauthorized ‘Missed
calls’ and make the other person speak, when it is
YOU who want to speak! Do not make unauthorized
missed calls expecting a call back ,it speaks low
about you!
5. In some occasions the person whom you are calling
may authorize ‘Missed Calls’ by you saying ‘just
give me a missed call and I shall get back to you’!
Well, many consider this as a license for them to
give innumerable ‘Missed Calls’ but it is always
recommended to maintain your posture strong by
calling yourself, from your phone! Kindly note, the
cost of telecommunication is reduced by almost 90%!
What will cost you anyway?
6. Never send a SMS without mentioning your name. It
makes no difference to the receiver when he receives
it without your name! Shall we call it SMS SPAM? You
may take it for granted that you are a part of his
‘Phone Book’ but there is always a chance that you
may not be listed there or he must have deleted your
name if you are not one among the frequent callers.
7. Kindly do not forward any SMS to someone without
you deleting the name of the person who has sent it
to you! It looks really odd when you send a
beautiful SMS but with someone else’s name at the
end!
When
you are a Receiver
1. If
you are receiving a call and if you are not able to
attend it, kindly ensure that you send a ‘SMS’
expressing your inability to do so! You can do it
easily as most of the cell phones do have ‘sample
SMSs’ already. You do not have to key in.
2. Always call back at your earliest when you have a
‘missed call’. It always speaks well on your part to
do so.
Let us use our Mobile phones effectively. |
