INDIAN NONI FAMILY CREATES HISTORY @
'TRAINER'S TRAINING PROGRAM'
AT TRANG, SOUTH THAILAND
Once in a Lifetime Opportunity!!!
You must have heard this phrase, many numbers of times while casual conversations. True, usually one does not attach too much of a meaning to it considering it to be just another way of expressing something special that happens in ones life and life goes on!
But, hold on…! You must know more about it! You deserve to know everything about it! Know what this phrase really means, by meeting any member of the Indian Noni Family that conquered Thailand between 24 June - 2 July 2006 and you will realize what this expression actually means, once forever! Every member of this prestigious delegation will share their heavenly ecstasy in such a powerful, passionate and an emotional way that you will not only end up making your 'once in a Lifetime Listening' but will not forget what the term really means, lifelong! Well, we all know that 'Knowing is Knowing and Doing is Doing' but Being in Thailand/Trang/Bangkok was more than Knowing, Doing, Seeing, Feeling, Enjoying and Experiencing for it was truly "Once in a Lifetime Opportunity!" Yeah… It was absolutely incredible, memorable and historic!
Well, our Holy Journey, as our Chairman calls it, to Trang, Thailand, started at 12 noon on the 23rd of June 2006 from Chennai. All the participants had assembled in the spacious new 'Indian Noni Pent House' at Adyar,
Chennai. Our beloved Chairman and the host for the day, Prof. Dr. P.I. Peter garlanded each and every participant personally and extend his heart felt welcome demonstrating his commitment to serve every member of his family by being a humble and modest father. This very act laid a magical foundation to this holy journey as the fragrance of pink roses filled the room with love and compassion, while cameras flashed and videotapes rolled tirelessly. Every 'Indian Noni Army' (staff) member present, who have been working hard to make Trang a huge success, was introduced to the august gathering and each one of them were acknowledged for their contribution. This was followed by an inaugural lunch hosted by our Chairman, the force behind everything that is the cause for TTP at Trang.
After the lunch, preliminary written test on 'simple Secrets of Building Your Noni Family Business and New Distributors Handbook' was conducted by Stan Serrao. After the test an alignment meeting was held that prepared each and every participant to participate in TTP at Trang, powerfully. To begin with a powerful invitation was read by our chairman demanding everyone to align with the intention of the TTP at Trang. Once the group got aligned to the core intention, a 'Never Ending Giving Ceremony' began. We had no words to appreciate the way every minute organizational intricacies were looked in with a very detailed yet meticulous planning under the vibrant leadership of our Chairman Dr. P. I. Peter. True to the saying that 'Our organization believes in giving', each participant was given loads of gifts, tools and support material. To begin with our Name Tag, Return Air Tickets with Passport, 400 ML Indian Noni Gold Bottle, a pair of Indian Noni Soap, Noni Aloe Gel, Noni Face Wash, Noni Perfume, Noni Air Bag, Noni Tie, Noni Tie Pin, Noni T-shirt, Noni Air Ticket Pouch, Noni Passport Carrier, Noni Pen, Noni Folder, Noni Notepad, Laughing Buddha, Audio
Cassette, Walkman, Noni Quote Book, Noni Shopping Bag, Motivational Books and importantly an Empower India Movement Suit for individual participant was given. Participants were allotted their room partners on a twin-sharing basis. The group was divided into 15 groups; each group consisting 3 pairs (6 participants) each. Lr. Kashinath Dalabanjan, Dr. S. H. Kulkarni,
Lr. Sankarsan Sahu and Lr. Stan Serrao were appointed as the Senior Group Leaders. Many converted India currency into US Dollars for shopping and other purpose. After the dinner, the group moved towards the Chennai International Airport in a professional and an uniform Noni Business Attire and flew their way to Bangkok on 24 June 2006 at 0025, in Thai Airways, as ambassadors of Indian Noni Family, with a mission to be accomplished.
Since it was the first air travel for a few and the first International Travel for many, the 3 hours flight journey was not without its own memorable moments. The warmth of Bangkok welcomed us at 0530 with its own hustling and bustling noise, in the early hours and we flew down again at 0800 Hours in another Thai Airways to Krabi, a beautiful city that is 70 minutes flying time away from Bangkok, having a beautiful airport. Majestic Volvo buses were waiting for us outside Krabi Airport to take us to our final destination, Trang! We boarded the buses at 1200 Hours and by 1400 Hours we were at Tumarin Thana Hotel at Trang. We were welcomed with extreme warmth and love by the hotel staff with traditional Thai Garlands and Thai Drink. Once the twin-sharing pairs settled in their rooms, we were lead to a lavish lunch after which some of us took some rest in our rooms while many of us refreshed ourselves with a world-famous traditional Thai massage by the beautiful yet respectable Thai girls.
Wow! Nature is amazing! These words would swirl out of your mouth without your knowledge, as one would see lush green landscape on your way from Krabi to Trang. Well, Thailand, which is a capital of Buddhist culture, is a great place of hospitality with an ever-smiling land with beautiful landscape around the blue water on the seashore inhabited by beautiful working women. It is land blended in rich tradition and modernity. It possesses beautiful people with fair complexion with average height. Virtually, all of them are friendly, always smiling, ready to oblige and communicate in a soft, rhythmic Thai accent greeting each other upholding their national spirit and tradition. A country that truly deserves a visit by everyone!
In the evening we were formally welcomed through a cultural event that had the traditional Thai music of Thai instruments.
The traditional dances with ever glowing smiling faces of beautiful girls with rich costumes touched everyone's heart. Not to lag behind, some of our leaders too exhibited their talents and made it a true cultural exchange program. This followed by an inaugural dinner. By late in the evening all of us were ready to hit the bed to refresh ourselves to prepare for our primary mission of getting trained to train others.
All were aware that the next 6 days were going to test us! Our temperament, our discipline, our commitment and our integrity were at stake. True to the demand of leaders, all of us were committed to adhere to every single guideline of our coach Dr. Prof. P.I. Peter, who was leading by example throughout. His vision, mission, organizational prowess, clarity of thought and a strong desire to make each one of us succeed was at his best. He led us from the front! He walked his talk throughout!
Morning Routine: Everyone would wake up much before 05000 Hours and would freshen up to be ready in casual dress for the daily exercise and 'Love Meditation', lead by our coach Prof. Dr. P.I. Peter, which would ideally end by 0700 Hours.
While physical exercise freshened us up physically, our daily morning newsletter 'TRANG! TRANG!' with power packed quotes and 'Thoughts For the Day' did brighten our minds everyday. One of the days the exercise and meditation was held at the famous Trang beach (where 'Kaho Na Pyar Hai' bollywood movie was shot), which unleashed the abundance of nature.
'Shouting out to the Sea' allowed us let go all our frustration and bitterness. The purpose of this exercise is to improve the vocal ability of the participants.
After delicious and variety of breakfast all would get ready to begin the session at 0800 Hours in formal attire and the day would end well beyond 2400 Hours with 2 breaks for tea/coffee and one for lunch, with a daily work of almost 20 hours.
For some of them, especially the support staff, it was more than 20 hours of work everyday, as everyone had a different role and responsibility to play. Though it may be physically tiring, the spirit would never give up and each and every participant was up against every challenge of the Trainers Training Program, maintaining the integrity and standard of this international event extremely high! Here is a quick look at the trainers Training Program:
June 25 (Day 1): It started with icebreakers that were innovative and put everyone at ease, without any
choice. Each and everyone enacted like a Gorilla and introduced themselves while singing and dancing, all three simultaneously.
The support Team lead was formally introduced while the hotel staff was acknowledged for their warm welcome. The whole day was dedicated on the theme 'Communication' and powerful sessions were lead by our coach Dr. P. I. Peter.
Concepts like 'Juke Box', 'Creation' and 'Listening' were the buzzwords on the day while the 'Communication Completion' with the our parents created an never-before experience for each and every participant, leaving every one cry like a baby while next moment the 'Listening' exercise made us laugh like mad!
June 26 (Day 2): Our special guest trainer Madam Kursheed Merchant (Coach of our Coach Dr. Prof. P. I. Peter) along with her team joined us in Trang and we extended a special Indian Noni welcome to her.
The day witnessed more powerful sessions on 'Action' and creating a space of 'Possibility' which lead us 'Declare' who we are. There was a flood of 'Resource Material' that was handed over to us while the trouble taken by our coach Dr. P. I. Peter to accumulate all this wisdom was commendable. The star attraction of the day was a powerful session lead by Dr. Rex Castelino, on 'Food, Nutrition and Nutrients' that triggered a powerful interactive debate assisted by Dr. Satish Kumar and Dr. Geeta Bhave. Prof. Dr. P. I. Peter then spoke on 'Should we use Milk?' that was an eye opener. This helped us in understanding the role of Indian Noni in our regular diet.
June 27 & 28 (Day 3 & 4): These two days were extensively stressing on the demands and requirements of a trainer or a workshop leader.
All of us were briefed about the 'Do's and 'Don'ts' of conducting Success Workshop. The text of Success Workshop was provided to each participant that was translated to many regional languages by leaders. The group was divided into 9 groups based on languages and all were expected to practice, practice and practice the text so that each one of us were experts in conducting Success Workshop independently and confidently.
Loads of practical tips on conducting workshops were given by Dr. P.I. Peter and after an extensive practice each participant was carefully scrutinized and by a 3-tier system i.e. by 2 rounds of scrutiny by the group leaders and the senior leaders and finally qualified by our coach Dr.
P. I. Peter himself.
Many were made to go back and practice more so that every participant was made to earn his qualification to be a trainer with hard work and application. 75 participants qualified as National Certified Trainers.
June 29 (Day 5): Our guest coach Ms. Kursheed Merchant, assisted by Ms. Anuja and Ms. Sabeera, started the day with appreciating each and every participant and our proactive participation.
Her 15 questions on a 4-line story were powerful demonstration of how we conclude things! She helped us realize how we live our life each moment through past concepts and coached us to live in the present.
Her fun-filled sessions were not only full of wit, humor and playfulness but also romantic, forcing all of us to change the perspective of romance and go all the way winking. She helped us remove our fear by making us walk on 'cut glasses' (pieces of beer bottles) on bare feet. Terms like 'Chavanni', 'Chikalu' and 'Papalu' were on every tongue even in sleep.
June 30 (Day 6): Immediately after the exercise and meditation we were put into another exercise of walking through the fire rings, which helped us remove our past blocks and fears.
The first Session was started with a powerful presentation on Noni Organic Contract Multilevel Cultivation By
Lr. Sankarsan Sahu giving a complete picture of the great possibilities in Noni Cultivation.
In the consequent sessions, we were lead into various group activities on communication and mind games that helped us realize how we live our life currently and how powerfully we can transform them by
Ms. Kursheed. This was a historic day not only for every participant but also for Empower Indian Movement and Indian Noni family as the entire Trainers Training Program saw a never-before grand finale. The evening witnessed the most important session, the 'oath taking Ceremony' which was full of significant events.
The lighting of New Life: The oath taking ceremony, named the 'New Life' was anchored by Stan Serrao, who invited coaches Ms. Kursheed Merchant, Dr. P.I. Peter as well as support staff Ms. Anuja, Ms. Sabeera and our own Dr. R.L. Nayyar on stage. Ms. Kursheed Merchant along with her support staff were welcomed and acknowledged for her contribution to the Trainers Training Program by Chairman Dr. P.I. Peter who garlanded and handed over a memento each. Dr.R.L Nayyar introduced two young sister directors, the owners of the hotel, while the chairman appreciated them and presented them with mementos.
Dr. P.I. Peter then lit a jumbo candle representing New Life of Empower India Movement and everyone associated with it, while Dr. S.H. Kulkarni read out the historic Trang Declaration on behalf of everyone present.
This was followed by an individual oath taking ceremony as a trainer of Empower India Movement by all 75 qualified trainers in a meaningful way. To begin with Dr. P.I. Peter passed on the light from the Empower India Movement candle to the candle of every qualified trainer, who then took an oath with great energy and conviction of serving the humanity. The trainer was then acknowledged by showering love on them and by awarding status of 'Certified National Trainer' by awarding a beautiful and elegant certificate. Later the support staff, senior leaders, photographer, videographer, and all the group leaders were acknowledged.
The Trainers Training Program achieved its peak when Dr. P.I. Peter lead us to the most emotional, unforgettable and patriotic event after garlanding each and every participant. He stood at the center of the seminar hall with the Jumbo candle, as a source of energy of Empower India Movement, while all the participants surrounded around him in a big circle, holding their lit candle in their hands to the dim lights of the hall and to the melodious tunes of 'Vande Mataram' sung by A.R. Rehman, representing the light of new life spreading in all directions of India. The spirit of nationalism, the spirit of united family and the spirit of service were flowing abundantly..…! It was 'the' moment of the Trainers Training Program at Trang! All the participants assured DR. P.I Peter that they would live and teach the values of Empower India Movement every moment and to every one they would come across, as a true token for all that he has done for us!
Well, it was the beginning! The beginning of a new life! Beginning of a mission of leading people towards health, wealth and personal freedom! The enlightened trainers of Noni Family are back to India spreading the fragrance of service, love, commitment and success among all of us! Let us embrace them with love!
On 1 July 2006, at 0500 Hours, dressed in casuals, all of us went around the city of Trang in the typically designed local auto-rickshaws (called the 'Tukk 'Tukk). Around 25 Tukk-Tukks took us around the city which looked like a mini 'Indian Noni Yatra', in Trang, where we visited the morning market. At 0800 hours we said adieus (bye bye) to Trang City and boarded Volvo buses to reach Krabi Airport by road. At 1100 Hours we boarded Thai Airways that brought us to the city of Bangkok. The Golden Orchid Hotel, located at the heart of city welcomed us with traditional Thai garlands and drinks and offered us delicious lunch. The afternoon was spent for shopping and by 2100 Hours we assembled for our special bidding off dinner in Thailand served with a special Japanese menu.
On 2 July we were up for breakfast at 0700 Hours and by 0800 we said adieus (bye bye) to Thailand. We boarded 3 different flights that took us to Chennai , Bangalore and Delhi and the Trainers Training Program at Trang created history!
The TTP saw many significant and unique events like celebrating Birthday of leader Dr.Sandhya Mohan (along with husband Dr. Vijay Mohan), Wedding Anniversaries of Leaders G.K. Nayyar & Manju Nayyar as well as Leader Ravi & Ranjana Soparkar, which made it all the more memorable for them. Leader Dr. S H Kulkarni, Lr. Kashinath Dalabanjan, Lr.Mallikarjun, Lr.Sankarsan Sahu, Lr.Stan Serrao, Lr.Hemant Chawan, Lr.Jaya Rao and Lr.S.K Awasthi anchored the program on various days and Leader Dr.Chandrakant Mishal has created and sang a touching Noni Song during the finale ceremony while Photographer Prasad Pawar and Videographer Santosh Mahadevan captured these historic moments with proof! Spacious rooms, modern facilities, traditional massage facilities, delicious vegetarian/non-vegetarian food and amazing weather made our stay absolutely a pleasure while Powerful training sessions by our coaches, fun filled participation, cracking Noni Music, dancing and clapping made us make us melody in our hearts and enjoy ourselves! It is the energy of 89 participants, 7 Support Staff (including Photographer & Videographer) along with 4 Coaches that made Trainers Training Program work 100% and 100%!
…And the new life has just begun with great energy towards empowering India.
